Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority has expanded its blacklist of allegedly non-compliant vessels to 77 ships, up from 56 on 3 September.

More significantly, it has now warned insurance companies, P&I clubs and classification societies not to provide services to blacklisted vessels, threatening unspecified consequences for organisations that continue to do so. Blacklisted ships themselves potentially face fines, detention or confiscation.
