SMF launches 7th MaritimeONE Case Summit for tertiary students
The Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) today launches the 7th edition of the MaritimeONE Case Summit, inviting Singapore’s universities and polytechnics to tackle some of the maritime industry’s most pressing challenges across sustainability, energy resilience and technology. Registration runs from 24 June to 27 July, with the proof-of-concept submission due 12 August.
Held in partnership with industry sponsors AET, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, Petredec Global and Pacific International Lines (PIL), this year’s case statements will see participants explore areas including maritime logistics optimisation, carbon emissions reduction, strengthening energy security and bunkering decision-making amidst geopolitical uncertainty.
As maritime navigates the complexities of decarbonisation, shifting energy landscapes and increasing operational demands, the MaritimeONE Case Summit provides students a hands-on platform to tackle real-world industry challenges, sharpen their creativity in developing innovative solutions, gain quality exposure via industry mentorship and networking – ultimately contributing fresh ideas to the next phase of Maritime Singapore’s growth.
