Leadership transition announced at Hartmann Reederei

Leer-based Hartmann Reederei has announced a planned leadership transition as Managing Director Captain Ulrich Adami begins a phased step-down from his role after more than three decades of dedicated service. Effective 1st December 2025, he will shift into an advisory role, continuing to support the organisation as Project Manager and ensuring continuity and stability across key initiatives.

Capt. Adami has been central to the group’s growth and long-term stability, guiding the business through significant milestones and contributing to its strong industry position. His ongoing involvement will help maintain momentum during this important transition period.

He will be succeeded by Captain Georg Haase. Capt, Haase has acted as a consultant for the Hartmann Group in various areas and functions since 1999, primarily supporting construction supervision.

Capt. Haase was instrumental in establishing Nautitec GmbH & Co KG in 2007, joining Nautitec as Managing Director after retiring as Sea and Harbour Pilot in 2014. His deep knowledge of the business, and consistent leadership makes him well placed to step into the role. He will serve alongside Mr. Jan-Lars Kruse, who will continue as Managing Director responsible for finance as part of the company’s strengthened executive structure.

Taking over the helm at Nautitec will be Captain Finn Kosel, known to the Group since 2013.

“We are grateful for Captain Adami ’s unwavering commitment and proud of the legacy he has built,” said Dr. Niels Hartmann, CEO of the Hartmann Group. “This transition marks a new chapter while keeping his experience close at hand. We are equally confident that Captain Haase’s appointment supports our long-term vision and positions the group for continued success.”

This structured handover reflects the group’s commitment to stable leadership and sustained operational excellence.
