MSC at SMW 2026: Building on 30 years of growth in Asia

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is marking the milestone of having opened its first Asia office in Singapore 30 years ago at Singapore Maritime Week 2026 (SMW 2026) later this month.

Returning as a silver sponsor, MSC will be exhibiting from 21-23 April at EXPO@SMW, Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. Innovations it will be showcasing include one of the world’s most ambitious dual-fuel LNG fleet renewal programmes and various initiatives to foster inclusive trade and protect our blue planet.

In this milestone year, MSC will also take part in the SMW panel discussion ‘Is Maritime Decarbonization Falling Behind - What's at Stake?’ from 10:45 - 11:45am on 22 April, at Hall 406. Representing MSC, Marie-Caroline Laurent (Group Senior Vice President, Maritime Policy and Government Affairs) will discuss the current trends and challenges and explain how we are working closely with key stakeholders to co-create the future of the maritime ecosystem.

MSC points out that over the past three decades, it has played a pivotal role in connecting Singapore and Asia to global trade, contributing significantly to the maritime industry’s growth and resilience. It now operates 60 offices across Asia, offering tailored shipping and logistics solutions, and around 60 dedicated trade services linking the continent to different parts of the world.
