“K” LINE Opens Representative Office in Doha

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” LINE) reports that it opened a representative office in Doha, the capital of Qatar, in mid-June.

The Japanese company points out that Qatar is one of the world's largest natural gas producers and LNG exporters, with production expected to continue to expand in the future. In addition, Qatar and the Middle East are not only energy exporters, the region is also one of the leaders in the markets for low-carbon and decarbonisation, including clean fuels.

In addition to its existing Middle East office in Dubai, “K” Line’s newly opened Doha office will seek out new business opportunities, including those in the energy transportation business.

The company says it will evolve and develop its marketing and sales capabilities through close ties with customers in Qatar and the Middle East region, and by responding to their needs. It will further strengthen partnerships and strive to achieve sustainable growth.
