UK-based shipowner Zodiac Maritime announces the successful launch of its OpenOcean CREW app – a groundbreaking digital solution that puts essential information directly into its seafarers’ hands.
Launched earlier this year, the powerful app provides our 6,500+ global seafarers with instant access to upcoming assignment, e-tickets and essential documentation related to their employment with Zodiac Maritime. The app’s intuitive design allows users to access details of their next assignment instantly and all in one place, eliminating traditional paper-based processes and enhancing speed and efficiency.
The company says the results speak for themselves. Within the first week, over 1,400 seafarers downloaded the app, and OpenOcean CREW now has 400-500 daily active users – numbers that continue to grow steadily.
