Marsa Maroc and CMA Terminals, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, have joined forces to operate the West Container Terminal at the Port of Nador West Med, a major strategic hub on Morocco’s Mediterranean coast.

A joint venture, 51% owned by Marsa Maroc and 49% by CMA Terminals, subject to the approval of the competent authorities, will be responsible for the management and development of the terminal.

Scheduled to become operational in 2027, the terminal will offer an annual handling capacity of 1.8 million TEUs and will serve as a major transhipment hub in the Mediterranean, strengthening Morocco’s integration into global maritime trade routes.
