Veson Nautical and Great Eastern Shipping go live with IMOS Platform

Veson Nautical (Veson), a global leader in maritime data and freight management solutions, and The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (GESCo) have announced the successful go-live of Veson’s IMOS Platform, an industry-leading solution for commercial freight contract management and voyage execution.

As part of the implementation, the companies also jointly developed a custom accounting interface with the Indian Government’s invoicing portal, assisting in seamless regulatory compliance and integration with financial operations.

This strategic move underscores Great Eastern’s commitment to continuous improvement and leveraging technology for operational excellence and superior customer service.

“In today’s ever-changing workplace, it’s crucial to have technology that can evolve as quickly as your business,” said Ankush Gupta (pictured), Chief Operating Officer, Great Eastern Shipping. “We expect IMOS to play a vital role in driving this agility. IMOS will not only improve existing business processes, but also unlock new solutions to address emerging needs, ultimately enhancing productivity and profitability.”

The IMOS Platform offers a comprehensive suite of features designed to streamline commercial freight contract management and voyage execution. By integrating seamlessly with Great Eastern’s existing technology stack IMOS creates a centralized data hub that fosters collaboration across departments and delivers operational efficiency, increased customer satisfaction, and valuable business insights.

Additionally, the implementation supports Great Eastern’s ability to make faster, data-informed decisions—what Veson calls a decision advantage. By providing access to clean, contextualized data in real time, the IMOS Platform empowers commercial teams to respond to dynamic market conditions with greater clarity, agility, and confidence.

“This go-live is a strong example of technology being applied to solve specific operational challenges in a scalable and regionally relevant way,” said Bradley Jee, Vice President, APAC at Veson Nautical. “We’re proud to support Great Eastern as they continue to invest in digital transformation to strengthen their commercial operations.”

This successful go-live also reflects Veson’s continued commitment to innovation and its expanding presence in the Asia-Pacific region, demonstrating the value of flexible, integrated maritime solutions tailored to meet local requirements and global standards.
