TT Club strengthens Board with global industry experts from MSC and Kanoo Logistics

TT Club, the leading mutual insurer in the global transport and logistics industry, has appointed two new non-executive Members to its Board.

TT Club has strengthened its Board considerably with the appointment of Saffia Kanoo and Laurent Audaz. Both bring decades of industry leadership and a strong alignment with TT Club’s mission to create a safer, more secure and sustainable future for the industry.

Saffia Kanoo is Vice President and International Business Director at Kanoo Logistics, one of the longest-established logistics businesses in the Middle East. Based in Saudi Arabia, she has worked across air cargo, shipping, customs clearance and specialised logistics services. She has helped lead strategic business expansion into diverse areas, including motorsports events and development projects, while also serving on boards spanning logistics, real estate and community initiatives.

A vocal advocate for empowering women and promoting mentorship, Kanoo has also led initiatives to bring new talent into the sector through training, joint ventures and industry networking. Her extensive grounding in both operational oversight and strategic leadership offers valuable perspective to TT Club’s Board.

Laurent Audaz is Vice President, Global Head of Insurance, Legal and Claims at Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) in Geneva, Switzerland. Over a career spanning nearly 30 years, he has held senior roles with several of the world’s largest shipping and logistics companies, including CMA CGM and ANL. With legal qualifications in maritime and international business law from France, Belgium and Norway, Audaz’s deep technical and regulatory knowledge across marine insurance and legal operations brings an important strategic dimension to the Board’s work.

He has represented MSC and the shipping industry more broadly as a member of the UK P&I Club’s Board and held roles with key international bodies such as the World Shipping Council and the International Chamber of Shipping. Mr. Audaz offers a global outlook underpinned by practical and legal expertise.

“As a mutual, our Members govern and guide us, shaping the decisions we make and the services we provide in support of a safer, more secure and more sustainable industry.” Kevin King, CEO of TT Club explained, “Saffia and Laurent represent the breadth and depth of that membership. Their appointments to the Board bring valuable global experience and insight from two key sectors in transport and logistics – container shipping and freight forwarding. I am proud to welcome them both.”
