OSM Thome Group appoints Tommy Olofsen as Group Managing Director to lead next phase of growth

After a long and successful career, Finn Amund Norbye has informed the Board of Directors of OSM Thome (OSMT) Group of his decision to retire from his role as Chief Executive Officer. 



The Board would like to thank Finn Amund for his contributions to the group, particularly his leadership in the merger of OSM Maritime Group and Thome Group.



Effective immediately, Tommy Olofsen (pictured), 12-year company veteran and current Chief Commercial Officer, will be promoted to the position of Group Managing Director of the OSMT Group, assuming all leadership responsibilities. Finn Amund will continue in a non-executive role as advisor to the Board, supporting a smooth transition.



Finn Amund commented: “It’s been a privilege to lead the OSMT Group through an exciting stage of its growth for the past six years, and to work alongside a dedicated and highly talented management team of which Tommy is a key member. I look forward to watching OSMT Group continue to develop and flourish under Tommy’s leadership."
