On Monday 15 September, Lloyd’s List Intelligence will host ‘Navigating Risk in an Uncertain Shipping World’ – a rooftop briefing and networking reception at the company’s London headquarters.

The event will explore the shipping industry’s most pressing challenges, from trade tariffs and port fees to decarbonisation measures and geopolitical headwinds. Attendees will gain insight from Lloyd’s List Intelligence’s expert editorial team and its Infospectrum risk specialists, widely recognised for their expertise in counterparty and maritime risk assessment.

Speakers include: Richard Meade, Editor-In-Chief, Lloyd’s List; Bridget Diakun, Senior Risk & Compliance Analyst, Lloyd’s List; Tomer Raanan, Maritime Risk Analyst, Lloyd’s List; Cichen Shen, APAC Editor, Lloyd’s List; Declan Bush, Senior Reporter, Lloyd’s List; and William Hogg, Senior Risk Analyst, Infospectrum.

Following the panel, guests will be invited to enjoy live music, cocktails from a mixologist, and panoramic views of London’s skyline, creating a unique setting for relaxed discussion and industry networking.

“London International Shipping Week is a critical forum for addressing the risks and opportunities shaping global trade. Partnering with LISW and hosting this event allows us to bring data-driven insight to the key players moving seaborne trade forward, helping industry leaders navigate volatility, strengthen resilience, and make informed decisions in an increasingly complex risk environment” said Waqas Samad, Chief Executive Officer, Lloyds List Intelligence.

As part of LISW’s flagship calendar, this partnership underscores Lloyd’s List Intelligence’s ongoing commitment to supporting the maritime community with the clarity, credibility, and expertise needed to address uncertainty and identify opportunity across global shipping.
