LISW25 welcomes new maritime insurance sponsors, underscoring London’s pivotal role as a global centre for marine risk and insurance expertise

London International Shipping Week 25 (LISW25) is proud to announce a new group of sponsors from the maritime insurance sector, reflecting the capital’s status as a world-leading hub for marine insurance and a focal point for international collaboration.

Joining as silver sponsors for the week-long event, taking place from 15th–19th September, are leading P&I insurers The Swedish Club and West P&I, alongside international insurance broker Cambiaso Risso Group. Global insurer Beazley joins the sponsor roster as a bronze sponsor.

They add to an already strong representation of the insurance sector at LISW25, including previously announced Marine Insurance Partner Lockton, and NorthStandard, sponsor of the flagship London Talks Live event, as well as UK P&I Club which is sponsoring badges and lanyards for the LISW25 Headline Conference.

As the historic home of marine insurance and the headquarters of the International Group of P&I Clubs, the addition of prestigious sponsors such as Cambiaso Risso Group, based in Italy, and The Swedish Club, headquartered in Gothenburg, demonstrates the international trust and engagement that London fosters within the sector.

Sean Moloney,co-founder of LISW, commented: “London has long been at the heart of global marine insurance and we are delighted to welcome our newest sponsors. From the P&I specialists to global brokers and underwriters, their support ensures that maritime insurance remains a key pillar of LISW25.”

With risk, insurance, and future resilience high on the agenda for LISW25, the presence of world-renowned marine insurance firms highlights the critical importance of this sector to the success and sustainability of global shipping.
