KPI OceanConnect launches fifth annual ‘50for50’ initiative to give back to local communities

KPI OceanConnect, a leading global marine energy solutions provider, has today announced the fifth annual edition of its ‘50for50’ initiative. From 11 November to 31 December 2025, the company will donate $50 for every customer order, directing support to local charities in the communities where its people and customers live and work.

For 2025, customers will be invited to choose which local charity receives the donation from their order. Each KPI OceanConnect office has nominated two trusted local organisations and customers will get to select their preferred beneficiary on confirmation of their order.

Over the past four years, ‘50for50”’ has contributed $455,300 to 31 local charities around the world, supporting a wide range of causes, from children’s health and food security to education, inclusion, environmental and maritime-related initiatives.

Dorthe Bendtsen (pictured), CEO of KPI OceanConnect said: “Our purpose goes beyond supplying the fuel that keeps global trade running; it’s about supporting the people and communities where we live and work.

“Five years ago, we launched ‘50for50’ with a simple promise: for every order, we would give back. Since then, thanks to our customers and partners, we’ve donated over $455,000 and supported 31 charities across our offices worldwide. Thank you for choosing to give back. Together, we can make a real difference for our communities.”
