Auramarine partners with Royal Blue to strengthen new build project and lifecycle service delivery in Greece and Cyprus

Finnish technology company and fuel supply and systems expert Auramarine has signed a cooperation agreement with Royal Blue, a provider of global solutions for marine spare parts and services, to enhance service delivery in Greece and Cyprus. The companies will work together to meet evolving technical and operational requirements of local ship owners as they adopt alternative fuels, including methanol, ammonia and biofuels, to decarbonise operations.

Royal Blue’s expertise in naval engineering and established network in the region complements Auramarine’s expertise in fuel supply systems and strategic focus on alternative fuels, providing the industry with tailored advice and services on complex newbuild and retrofit projects. By working together, the companies will be able to provide faster delivery times and support Greek and Cypriot ship owners in meeting their decarbonisation ambitions, operational needs, classification society rules, as well as safety and quality requirements.

“This partnership strengthens our presence in both Greece and Cyprus to better serve our customers there. Royal Blue’s established network in the region, strong relationships with local ship owners as well as technical expertise in marine spare parts allows us to speak the same language, optimise solutions and create real value for our customers as they navigate the energy transition.

"The energy transition is not slowing down and at Auramarine, we are firmly focused on supporting ship owners in decarbonising their fleets. Whether it’s a newbuild at the commissioning stage, a retrofit project or service inspection later on, we have the expertise and experience to be able to support our customers at every stage of the lifecycle.  We are looking forward to this partnership and to creating tangible value for our customers,” says John Bergman (pictured, left), CEO of Auramarine.

Antonis Mastrothanasis (right), CEO, Royal Blue, added: “I am pleased to announce that our company has entered a strategic partnership with Auramarine. This alliance unites our established expertise in newbuild and retrofit projects, spare parts and services with their distinguished leadership in Fuel Supply Systems. Auramarine’s auxiliary units meet the most stringent quality standards and fulfil the latest classification society rules. This collaboration is a step to enhance our integrated service offering, addressing the evolving technical and operational needs of the maritime market. We are confident that this partnership will create significant value, drive innovation, and reinforce our shared commitment to excellence for our clients in Greece and Cyprus. We look forward to embarking on this productive journey with our partners at Auramarine.”
